Well were do I start about this event! I would just like to say a huge thankyou to everyone that attended
the evening!
Margam Castle is truly a magnificent building and what turned out to be a ghost hunt
we will never
forget!
The night started with a tour of the building inside and out, what we saw was nothing in comparison
to the actual scale of this building! An incite to the history and hauntings that happen within the castle
and it's grounds.
The night started with vigils from each group. One in the storage room, one in the nursery, one in the
Chinese bedrooms. My group in the Chinese bedrooms began calling out, it didn't take long to get the responses we were there for, taps, knocks, rumbles were heardd by the group, however this felt like
it was in the shadows and would not step forward. Certain questions and provocation got better
responses than others, after some time spent here with the team removed along to the next room
from where we heard noises. Around the table we sat with the EMF meter and torch to the centre which apparently got alot happening last time. We were communicating with an unknown spirit that upon a
gentleman asking him to grab at the EMF meter saw a sudden spike on the detector, this was very
impressive! The spirit seemed to work off energy of noise and laughter at some points as the EMF went
off alot when our attention was elsewhere in the room. Myself and another chap saw something put it's
upper body around the corner and disappear as fast as it had appeared. Alot of activity of light anonomlies
and taps aswell as other reportings made a great start to the night!
Elsewhere groups had activity in the storage room with books moving by themselves and more!
The best bit of the night had to be at the end with a calling out vigil down at the abbey ruins, a mixture
of reports of lights, movement and bangs were seen and heard.
We relocated near to the tree which stood outside the grounds, here we stayed calling out with
movement and noises around us and elsewhere, we broke the circle to move to where the noises
had been again but on this occasion 6 people witnessed what is mine and others first sighting of a
spirit/ghost. We were walking towards the ruins when a black figure/silouette moved sideways on the
pillar in a strange movement which can online described as it creeping around. The figure was no shadow
as all torches were off and non of the group were moving sideways as mentioned we were all walking
forward. This cannot be be explained by any of the people that witnessed this and will without a doubt stick
in everyones mind. Further tries for this once again proved non successful but we thanked fir what we
had seen.
Margam truly lived up to being haunted for us and we will be returning soon!
