The Hell Fire Caves which have been investigated by the Most Haunted Team are incredibly
active and featured many times on TV.
The caves were extended in the 1740’s by Sir Francis
Dashwood who was the founder of the famous Hellfire Club.
It is said that Sir Francis held the notorious Hell fire Club meetings in the Inner Temple deep
inside the Caves, which is several hundred feet below a Church, well known aristocrats and
statesmen were the clubs members.
There are many ghosts said to dwell in the Cave and occurrences happen frequently. An Apparition
has been reported very recently of a girl, she is thought to be the Spirit of a young girl called
Suki who worked in the local area. She sadly met her untimely death in the Caves where she was
stoned to death by a group of local youths when a practical joke backfired and it is since this time that
she has been seen wandering along the corridors of the Cave.
There are many Caves, Chambers and Halls to explore in this fascinating place and plenty of
paranormal phenomena such as strange lights, mists and discarnate voices which have been
captured on EVP also stone throwing poltergeist activity has been reported by visitors frequently so
as you can see this really is Ghost Hunting at its best at such a fantastic haunted location and is an event
not to be missed!
